Fundatia ADEPT wins top European prize for farm advisory services
10 December 2012, Brussels: in a Europe-wide competition, 'Best CAP communication award', organized by the European Commission, the Romanian ADEPT Foundation (Fundația ADEPT Transilvania) won first prize in the 'Communication to the beneficiaries' category. ADEPT Foundation’s project ’Information networks for farmers in Transylvania’ received most public votes at the competition. Places 2 and 3 were occupied by projects in the Netherlands and Spain.Read more
Swiss-funded project for economic development of High Nature Value farmed landscapes
In April 2013, Fundatia ADEPT, in partnership with WWF Romania and ProPark, the Romanian Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and AGRIDEA (Switzerland) began a 3-year project, funded by the Swiss-Romanian Cooperation Programme, to develop ways to give economic viability to the important High Nature Value farmed landscapes of Romania, and to the small-scale farming communities who maintain them.Read more
